Short answer: Yes. Session transcriptions carry a level of confidentiality equivalent to clinical notes, accessible only to the professional who owns the account.

What CauceOS protects

  • Exclusive access: Only the professional who owns the account can see their transcriptions and reports. In Business plans, administrators can view sessions within their organization, not across organizations.
  • No third-party sharing: We do not sell or transfer session data to third parties under any circumstances.
  • No AI training use: Transcriptions are never used to train or improve AI models, whether our own or third parties'.
  • Encrypted at rest and in transit: All information travels encrypted and is stored encrypted on our servers.

Retention period

The standard retention period is 90 days from the session date. After that window, data is securely archived or deleted according to your account settings.

You can delete any session or report before that window at any time. You can also request deletion of all your data from Settings → Account → Delete my data.

CauceOS treats session transcriptions with the same confidentiality level as clinical notes: access restricted to the account owner, encryption at rest with AES-256 and in transit with TLS 1.3, 90-day default retention, and no use for training AI models. CauceOS Help Center

What information is processed

During a session, CauceOS processes the video call audio in real time to generate the transcription. Once processed, the audio does not persist on any server. What is stored is the text transcription, generated reports, and logged alerts.
